Amazon Product Research Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Amazon Product Research Specialist to help us identify profitable, low-competition product opportunities for our Amazon FBA business. The ideal product will: Sell within the $20?$50 price range Be compact and not too bulky (to minimize shipping costs) Offer potential for branding (i.e., private label or custom packaging opportunities) Show steady demand and manageable competition Responsibilities: - Market Analysis Conduct thorough research on emerging trends and consumer demand within various product categories. Perform keyword research to identify relevant and high-volume search terms. - Product Sourcing & Feasibility Identify potential products using tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, AMZScout, or similar platforms. Evaluate supplier options (if applicable) and approximate manufacturing costs, shipping costs, and overall margins. - Competition & Pricing Evaluation Analyze the competitive landscape, including top sellers, review counts, and brand dominance. Propose competitive yet profitable price points within $20?$50. -Reporting Provide a shortlist (3?5 options) of the best product opportunities, including key metrics (e.g., average monthly sales, competition level, estimated ROI). Suggest any branding or differentiation strategies (unique features, bundle ideas, packaging concepts). Deliverables: A detailed report highlighting your top recommended product opportunities (3?5 products) For each product: Keyword & Search Volume Data Sales & Pricing Trends Competition Analysis (review counts, main competitors, barriers to entry) Estimated Profit Margins (rough calculations of product cost vs. potential selling price) Recommended Differentiation/Branding Angle Requirements: Proven experience with Amazon product research for private-label or FBA businesses Familiarity with Amazon seller tools (Helium 10, Jungle Scout, AMZScout, etc.) Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations Excellent communication and reporting skills Apply Job!
