Description Multimedia & Visual Design Contractor Axiom Learning is an EdTech company focused on helping students become more effective, independent learners through neuroscience-informed assessment and curriculum. Our products support educators in developing executive functioning skills that drive academic success, engagement, and long-term outcomes. We are seeking a highly skilled, versatile Multimedia & Visual Design Contractor to support the creation of engaging, high-quality visual and video content across our product, curriculum, and marketing efforts. Rather than owning a fixed set of responsibilities, this role flexes based on business needs—ideal for someone who enjoys variety and can quickly shift between different types of creative work. This role is well-suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, can work independently with minimal direction, and is excited to leverage the latest AI-powered tools to produce impactful, scalable content. Work will be project-based and variable, depending on business needs. This is a flexible, project-based role. The specific work will vary depending on current priorities, and contractors will typically focus on a subset of the areas below at any given time. Examples of projects may include: Creating marketing videos (e.g., product demos, testimonials, social media content) Developing educator-facing "how-to" and onboarding videos Producing student-facing instructional videos to explain concepts and increase engagement Designing infographics and marketing visuals Creating visuals for teacher trainings (e.g., slide decks, frameworks, diagrams) Developing student-facing graphics and imagery for curriculum content Designing worksheets, classroom materials, games, and posters Supporting development of teacher-facing resources (e.g., manuals, handbooks, guides) Contributing to a cohesive visual identity across products and materials Providing input on UI/UX design and feature mockups Supporting consistency across student, teacher, and district-facing assets Requirements Core Skills & Experience Proven experience producing high-quality videos and visual assets efficiently Strong portfolio demonstrating both marketing and instructional/student-facing content Proficiency in modern design and video tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, video editing platforms) AI & Innovation Actively uses and stays up to date with AI tools for content creation (e.g., image generation, video generation, rapid prototyping) Able to leverage emerging technologies to improve both quality and speed of output Work Style Highly self-directed and comfortable working with abstract or evolving requirements Strong time management skills; able to handle multiple concurrent projects and deadlines Fast learner who can quickly internalize brand voice, audience needs, and product context Mindset Fit Detail-oriented with a strong eye for design, clarity, and user experience Adaptable and responsive to feedback Comfortable collaborating asynchronously with a distributed team Nice-to-Have Experience Experience working in EdTech or education-focused organizations Background designing for K–12 audiences (both student- and teacher-facing) Familiarity with instructional design principles or learning science Experience supporting product teams with UI/UX design Engagement Details Flexible, project-based workload Remote/offshore preferred Opportunity for ongoing collaboration based on performance and business needs How to Apply Portfolio showcasing relevant video and design work (especially education or instructional content) Brief description of experience using AI tools in their workflow Availability and typical turnaround times Apply To This Job Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
