Position Overview – Remote Data Entry & Marketplace Account Manager

This full‑time, remote role is based in Guatemala and is designed for entry‑level talent with a passion for data, sales, and digital marketplaces. As a Marketplace Account Manager you will be the bridge between high‑potential third‑party (3P) sellers and arenaflex’s online platform. Your core mission is to identify, recruit, and enable sellers to list their products, optimize pricing, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams—including product, operations, and analytics—to drive growth, improve selection, and increase revenue for both sellers and arenaflex.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketplace Intelligence: Develop a deep understanding of the marketplace segment, seasonal trends, and competitive dynamics across the United States and Latin America.
  • Seller Acquisition: Prospect, qualify, and onboard high‑potential sellers through virtual outreach, webinars, and one‑on‑one presentations.
  • Data‑Driven Enablement: Provide sellers with best‑practice guidance, performance analytics, and actionable insights to improve listings, pricing, and fulfillment.
  • Strategic GTM Execution: Identify product selection gaps, design go‑to‑market strategies, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to launch new product categories.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (Category Management, Advertising, Customer Service) and external partners (logistics providers, payment gateways) to resolve seller issues quickly.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as seller activation rate, inventory health, sales velocity, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process enhancements, automation initiatives, and knowledge‑base documentation to scale seller success.
  • Reporting & Insights: Prepare regular reports for senior leadership highlighting growth trends, market opportunities, and risk areas.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of proven sales experience, preferably within e‑commerce, retail, or fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) environments.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding revenue targets using consultative and solution‑oriented selling techniques.
  • Strong interest in introducing new products to emerging markets and helping sellers expand their reach.
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office suite tools; comfort working with large data sets and performing quantitative analysis.
  • Exceptional commercial judgment, written and verbal communication abilities, and a knack for building trusted relationships.
