Our culture celebrates curiosity, encourages bold ideas, and rewards collaboration. As we continue to expand our global footprint, we are looking for visionary leaders who can turn raw data into strategic advantage.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Data Analytics & Data Governance to join the Global Procurement Analytics team. In this high‑visibility role you will partner with finance, product, and operations leaders across Food, Consumer Goods, Health & Wellness, and Technology domains. You will own the end‑to‑end analytics lifecycle— from data acquisition and governance to advanced insight generation— ensuring that arenaflex’s business decisions are grounded in trustworthy, actionable information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise‑wide analytics solutions that support strategic procurement initiatives.
  • Define and enforce data governance policies, data quality standards, and metadata management practices across all procurement data sources.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate business objectives into analytical requirements, KPIs, and reporting frameworks.
  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve interactive dashboards and visualizations using PowerBI, Dataiku, and other modern BI tools.
  • Drive data‑driven decision making by uncovering trends, patterns, and opportunities that influence cost‑saving, risk mitigation, and supplier performance.
  • Mentor and develop a team of data analysts, data engineers, and governance specialists, fostering a culture of curiosity and continuous learning.
  • Champion a “data‑first” mindset across the organization, promoting data literacy and best practices through workshops, documentation, and coaching.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry standards in data analytics, cloud platforms, and governance frameworks, recommending strategic investments.
  • Partner with IT and cloud engineering teams to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and related services.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean and Six Sigma principles to streamline analytics processes and reduce cycle time.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CDMP, PMP) are highly desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading data analytics or data governance initiatives in a large, complex organization.
  • Proven expertise with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker, and hands‑on experience with data science platforms like Dataiku or Databricks.
  • Strong background in data engineering concepts, including ETL processes, data warehousing, and cloud‑based data platforms (GCP, BigQuery, Dataflow, etc.).
  • Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and familiarity with big‑data processing frameworks (Hive, Spark, Flink).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, executive‑level recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with a talent for simplifying technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
  • Track record of building high‑performing teams, coaching talent, and fostering an inclusive, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience with data governance tools such as Collibra, Alation, or Informatica.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, spend analytics, and supplier risk management.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies for analytics project delivery.
  • Certification in data privacy and security (CIPP, CISSP) or experience implementing GDPR/CCPA compliance.
  • Ability to influence senior leadership and drive consensus across matrixed organizations.
  • Passion for sustainability and an understanding of how data can support responsible sourcing initiatives.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Analytical Curiosity: A relentless drive to explore data, ask “why,” and uncover hidden opportunities.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to see the big picture, align analytics roadmaps with corporate goals, and anticipate future data needs.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with finance, product, legal, and technology partners.
  • Leadership: Proven capability to inspire, mentor, and develop diverse talent while maintaining high performance standards.
  • Execution Excellence: Track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and with measurable business impact.
  • Adaptability: Comfort thriving in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments and quickly adjusting to evolving priorities.

  • Participation in cross‑functional innovation labs focused on AI, sustainability, and next‑generation procurement solutions.
