PVE Systems Integration Engineer I

Daimler Truck North America is a leader in the automotive industry, focusing on innovative solutions in sustainability and future driving technology. They are seeking a PVE Systems Integration Engineer I to validate vehicle software features, write and execute test cases, and document issues during vehicle testing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle integration validation for vehicle software features
  • Write and execute test cases and report on issues found during vehicle testing
  • Document issues in JIRA and track them along with design counterparts to closure
  • Participate in ongoing continuous improvement activities within the vehicle integration test department
  • Perform troubleshooting activities during vehicle preparation phase to ensure our test platforms are ready for validation

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Computer Engineering
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks on hand
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create an overview of testing required and present as a plan
  • Ability to develop conclusions from validation of features, report results and track issues
  • Ability to work with vehicle based measurement systems and logging devices
  • Ability to obtain a commercial driver's license
  • Previous experience with CANalyzer or other CAN based tools
  • Previous vehicle development or validation experience and knowledge of automotive systems
