Billing Specialist

They are seeking a Billing Specialist to join their corporate office team, responsible for managing client accounts and ensuring accurate billing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Posting payments to client accounts
  • Reconciling deposits
  • Managing client accounts by sending monthly client statements and invoices
  • Data entry and maintaining tracking reports for employer-related services
  • Point of contact regarding client account questions, internally and externally
  • Assisting other back-office personnel as needed
  • Maintaining referral source tracking reports
  • Fill medical records requests in a timely manner
  • Working with the Billing Team to maintain accurate client accounts

Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in an office environment
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in billing, accounts receivable, and/or medical claims
  • Knowledge of insurance claims to determine patient financial responsibility
  • Experience with medical coding
  • Proficient in reconciliation of data
  • Experience in customer service communication
  • Experience with EMR software, Outlook, Excel and Microsoft Office
