Senior Atlassian Engineer

SOFTSWISS is hiring a highly experienced Atlassian Engineer to join our Atlassian Team within the IT Department. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of our Atlassian ecosystem, focusing on customization, automation, and cross-platform integrations.

Requirements

  • At least 4+ years of hands-on experience with Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Opsgenie (Data Center or Server)
  • Proven experience administering Atlassian products in large-scale enterprise environments with 1000+ users
  • Expertise in managing and optimizing complex Jira workflows, permission schemes, and reporting tools
  • Russian – native-level proficiency; English proficiency at B1+ level or higher
  • Advanced proficiency in Groovy scripting, REST API, and custom automation for enterprise-scale solutions
  • Strong experience with 3rd-party add-ons: ScriptRunner, EazyBI, BigPicture, and Automation for Jira
  • Experience with Insight Asset Management and advanced reporting using SQL and JQL
  • Basic understanding of Linux and SQL for system configuration and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with integration of identity systems (Active Directory, LDAP, or Azure AD)
  • Integration Experience: Hands-on experience building and maintaining integrations between Atlassian tools and external systems (e.g., HubSpot, HiBob, Slack, GitLab, Workday, etc.)
  • Ability to design scalable integration architectures and troubleshoot data flow, API limits, auth methods, and sync issues
  • Experience with automation tools (Zapier, n8n, Make, or custom solutions) is a plus
