About the job

The Site Reliability Engineer & DevOps team provides leadership, direction and accountability for application architecture, Cloud design, Infrastructures development and end to end implementation. You will independently determine and develop architectural approaches and Infrastructure solutions, conduct business reviews, and operate our production services. Strong collaboration skills will be required to work closely with other engineering teams to ensure services/systems are highly stable and performant and meet the SLA of the service operations.

In this role:

  • Perform common daily monitoring, maintenance and support tasks to critical service and infrastructure components, e.g. Continuous Integration, Release deployment, Patching etc.
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to timely resolve tools and system issues in daily operation.
  • Utilize existing tools to perform remote administration, configuration based on projects and support tickets.
  • Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
  • Write toolkit with common scripting language (e.g. Powershell/Python) to deliver excellence operations.
  • Write and review accurate and complete support procedures, system documentation, and issue tracking entries.

Core Qualifications:

  • Background in Computer Science equivalent to a B.Sc.
  • 1-2 years of software development experience, or 3+ years of senior technical support experience in enterprise-level systems.
  • Windows and Linux server hands on system experiences.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Shell, C#)
  • Experience with automation and DevOps tools, setting up and supporting CI/CD.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with complex technical systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience in incident management and participating in on-call rotations. Support a 24x7 live site support model for the services team owns

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (Azure/ AWS/GCP)
  • Mastering CICD concepts and hands on implementations experiences, specifically GIT
  • Experience in cross-team project coordination and execution
  • Leadership skills: Sound problem resolution, judgment, negotiating and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient on both Chinese and English.
  • Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
