FP&A Manager

We’re now looking for an FP&A Manager to partner with senior leadership in our Product organization, with an initial focus on our core Payment products. In this role, you’ll act as the financial sparring partner to the SVP of Product and their leadership team. You’ll help shape where and how we invest, measure success, and ensure product strategy is always connected to long-term financial impact. Operating at the intersection of commercial ambition and technical execution, you will be instrumental in guiding the next phase of Adyen’s product growth.

What you’ll do

• Serve as the business partner to the SVP of Product and senior leadership, providing financial insight and strategic challenge to support product decisions.

• Act as the bridge between commercial ambitions and product capacity, helping prioritize resources and shaping where we scale, double down, or step back.

• Drive alignment across Product, Pricing, Business Control, and Product Financial Control on performance evaluation and reporting standards.

• Own and co-create product-level forecasts and long-term investment cases, working closely with commercial teams to connect opportunities with financial outcomes.

• Lead strategic cross-functional projects (e.g. Franchise model), ensuring that financial considerations are embedded into decision-making from the start.

• Translate financial analysis into clear, actionable narratives for senior stakeholders, influencing investment choices at the highest level.

Who you are

• You bring 8–10 years of experience in FP&A, product finance, strategy, or business partnering roles, ideally in a fast-paced tech or scale-up environment.

• You have proven experience in partnering with senior leaders and influencing decisions at executive level.

• You’re skilled at bringing structure and clarity to ambiguous problems, and can simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.

• You are comfortable working with financial models, forecasts, and frameworks - and can translate them into simple, compelling recommendations.

• You are collaborative, curious, and confident in challenging assumptions when needed.

• You’re excited about payments and motivated to dive into Adyen’s core business.

• Experience with tools like Pigment or Looker is a plus, but not a must.
