Product Manager - Drive Innovation in Quality Management Software

Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development of our next-generation quality management and control software. As a strategic thinker, you will drive the product vision and strategy, ensuring our offerings exceed customer expectations and industry standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, make high-impact decisions, and act as the primary link between internal stakeholders, customers, and engineering teams.

In this role, you will take ownership of a significant aspect of our product portfolio, driving solutions for pressing customer problems and supporting our growth and customer satisfaction efforts. You will report to the VP of Software Development and lead by example, partnering with Engineering to iteratively drive solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and Drive Product Roadmap: Shape and execute the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry trends.
  • Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Establish feedback loops with internal stakeholders and customers, leveraging insights to influence product direction.
  • Monitor Product Usage: Assess product OKRs, usage, and feedback to identify opportunities for training, enhancements, and usability improvements.
  • Ownership of Product Backlog: Oversee the product backlog, release planning, and prioritization, ensuring development efforts align with business priorities.
  • Compliance Support: Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure products meet or exceed industry regulations.

Product Ownership in Agile Environment:

  • Business Needs Translation: Define high-level acceptance criteria and user stories based on customer input and market research.
  • Act as Domain Expert: Guide the engineering team in feature implementation, providing clear requirements and resolving ambiguities.
  • Acceptance Testing: Perform comprehensive testing of completed features to ensure business value and minimal defects.

Release Management and Training:

  • Release Coordination: Manage release notes, user documentation, training materials, and resources for successful deployment.
  • Training and Support: Develop and deliver training sessions, acting as a product ambassador for ongoing support.
  • Product Support Collaboration: Participate in resolving defects, representing product intent, and coordinating testing efforts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
    • 3-5 years of experience in B2B product management or related roles
    • Extensive knowledge of business requirements definition and Agile methodologies
    • Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
  • Preferred Requirements:
    • Prior experience in adjacent departments (engineering, QA, client-facing groups)
    • Prior experience with AI-powered products and capabilities
    • Demonstrated success in managing complex enterprise products

What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of $115,000 - $135,000 and the opportunity to work with a innovative team in the Financial Services industry.
