English UK Translator (Swedish to English) - EU Content

We are seeking a highly skilled English UK Translator with native-level English and fluent Swedish to contribute to a prestigious European Commission project. As a core member of our remote team, you'll play a vital role in delivering accurate and impactful translations of EU content.
Lionbridge has been awarded the TRAD23 project by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Translation (DGT), expanding our need for experienced Swedish to English UK translators. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with world-class clients and contribute to important global initiatives.
Requirements:
- Native-level command of English (UK variant)
- Fluent knowledge of Swedish
- Strong linguistic background; preferably a university degree in Translation or Linguistics
- Minimum 1 year of full-time professional experience translating EU content
- Proficiency in SDL Trados Studio 2021
- Familiarity with IATE and EurLex
