Role Description

GE Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Engineering Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing engineering operations programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Drive initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Engineering function.
  • Interface with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination.
  • Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline.
  • Function with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.
  • Allow modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or a high school diploma / GED, with at least 3 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Additional experience with proven results in process implementation and improvement.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience implementing advanced SmartSheet features to provide enterprise level solutions.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.
  • Experience implementing financial and operational management systems.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex engineering programs.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with GE Aerospace's FLIGHT DECK lean operating model.
