About the Position:

The Senior NPI Engineering Program Manager - Reverse Logistics will play a critical role in defining and implementing strategies for warranty and returns services of new complex products. This senior leadership position involves developing technical processes for disassembly, assembly, spare parts reclamation, and tooling solutions to enhance global service operations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure successful product launches and drive improvements in serviceability and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the overall repair service cost-model, driving changes due to risk and plan of record changes.
  • Define customer return screening and repair strategies for warranty and remorse returns.
  • Design and develop repair processes and tooling to support repair activities for various products.
  • Ensure successful implementation of global and regional support strategies.
  • Review and evaluate product designs for compliance with Design for Serviceability guidelines and standards.
  • Provide actionable feedback to improve product design features based on results.
  • Enhance field support productivity through improved hardware serviceability.
  • Review hardware designs during key build phases to ensure tooling and service solutions meet requirements.
  • Define spare part requirements and expected usage.
  • Develop programs to reduce the need for new spare parts through refurbishment and warranty cost improvements.
  • Design repair processes for efficiency and reduced complexity in operations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
  • Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
  • Experience managing technical products or online services.
  • Experience representing and advocating for critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, or QuickSight.
  • Experience building and driving adoption of new tools.
