The Opportunity

As a Middle Office Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our trading activities. Your primary focus will be on reconciliations, daily bookings, and managing various financial processes. This position is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • You will assist the trading team with asset management in various exchanges and follow up fund transfers when necessary.
  • You will work either individually, with other teams, or with external contacts to resolve any identified discrepancies and troubleshoot any systemic issues promptly and effectively.
  • You will manage creditor interactions, verifying terms, facilitating drawdown and payment of loan principal and interest, auditing invoices and addresses.
  • You will produce scheduled and unscheduled reports, analyses, and historical records as required by mandate or in support of other teams.
  • You will help in quality assurance practises and will help developing manual processes into effective, automated processes.
  • Discrepancy Analysis: Conduct thorough break analysis and resolve discrepancies in trading data.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Assist with various ad hoc projects and tasks as required by the team.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of middle office experience, preferably within a multi-national, and ideally in digital currencies, trading or other financial services organisation
  • Ability to raise issues with peers and managers, as well as communicate with clients and business partners to negotiate terms, as necessary
  • As you will be working remotely, you will demonstrate an excellent ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and demonstrate self-reliance and self-motivation
  • Good initiative, great sense of urgency and personal resilience to manage the ups and downs of fast-paced teams
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial software systems
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external partners
  • Understanding blockchain technology, digital assets (such as cryptocurrencies), and the regulatory landscape surrounding them is highly desirable.
  • A self-starter who goes beyond what is asked for to get the job done well.

What we offer in return:

  • Opportunity to work at the forefront of the digital asset industry
  • Collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Autonomy and a flat structure means you can contribute your ideas from day one and really leave your mark in our growing organisation.

At Auros, we value nimbleness, drive for success, owner mentality, collaboration and self-motivation. Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter detailing your relevant experience and why you're excited to join Auros.
