Associate Engineer Data Platform - US Based Remote

You’ll enjoy developing tools like Data Ingestion Platforms to bring data from diverse sources into our Data Lake and Data Streaming Platform, as well as tools for monitoring and observability. Key Responsibilities

  • Build Scalable Solutions: Create high-performance, scalable data solutions for millions of agents, brokers, home buyers, and sellers.
  • Collaborate on Data Streaming: Work with fellow Data Engineers to develop our Next Generation Data Streaming Platform.
  • Develop Data Ingestion Platforms: Implement real-time data streaming from SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle using CDC-based technologies, as well as from third-party APIs, internal micro-services, and files stored in S3/sftp servers.
  • Enhance Data Quality: Collaborate on developing Data Quality and Ops Platforms for real-time data anomaly detection and data profiling.
  • CI/CD in the Cloud: Develop CI/CD processes for continuous delivery in AWS Cloud.
  • Support and Troubleshoot: Perform production issues, troubleshooting, and resolution, focusing on observability to detect issues in advance.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Programming Experience: Ideally, you have one or more years of experience with programming languages such as Go, Java, Python, or NodeJS.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Problem Solving Skills: Strong analytical & problem-solving skills to identify data issues and performance bottlenecks.
