The Role: We are looking for a Principal Engineer to develop state-of-the-art algorithms and techniques for sense making and sensor decision making, from signal detection and classification, to electronic support measures, attack, and protection, to cognitive EW and more. You will lead projects and proposal efforts, lead and advise fellow researchers, scientists, and engineers on multi-disciplinary teams spread across multiple STR campuses. You will seek to understand customer missions, and in turn, construct proposal and program plans to meet their current and future needs. What you will do: Engage directly with customers to understand their unique requirements and national security needs, and shape our solutions to meet their objectives Lead projects and multi-disciplinary teams Design and apply cutting-edge signal processing and machine learning techniques to solve complex radar and RF sensing and counter-sensing challenges Support business development initiatives and lead writing efforts, playing a key role in shaping the future direction of our projects and organization Who You Are: This position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance, for which U.S. citizenship is needed by U.S. Government.
