We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OSP Engineer with proven Comsof IQGeo experience to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the planning and layout of FTTH/FTTP fiber optic networks;
  • Develop High Level Designs (HLDs) including route proposals, splice points, and network topology based on client requirements, permitting constraints, and available data;
  • Upload and maintain field data, imagery, and documentation using tools such as IQgeo, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Katapult, and Google Earth;
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of collected data from aerial and underground surveys;
  • Coordinate with field survey crews to document utility poles, handholes, pedestals, and ROW features;
  • Collaborate with permitting, GIS, and construction teams to ensure smooth project execution;
  • Identify potential conflicts or violations during field data collection and propose viable solutions;
  • Apply NESC/NEC standards and customer-specific specifications in all design activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in OSP engineering or related fiber design work;
  • Solid understanding of FTTH architecture, including centralized, distributed split, and tap configurations;
  • Hands-on experience with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, IQGeo, Vetro, or similar platforms;
  • Working knowledge of Google Earth, MS Excel/Word, and Adobe tools;
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work independently;
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
