ECS is seeking an ETL Engineer to work remotely.
ECS is seeking a highly skilled ETL Engineer to support the management and maintenance of the Veterans Affairs IT infrastructure. This role manages data models and database systems, optimizing storage, retrieval, and implementation processes. This position leads database architecture, resolves advanced issues, and drives performance enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee the selection, implementation, and configuration of software, hardware, and network infrastructure for database management systems.
- Establish and maintain high standards for database tools, administration protocols, and best practices, ensuring operational excellence.
- Lead efforts to monitor and apply critical SQL Server patches and updates, guaranteeing system security and reliability.
- Architect and drive the development of data models and access layers that enhance new product capabilities and scalability.
- Strategize and implement robust backup solutions and database replication protocols to ensure data integrity.
- Tackle complex technical challenges with a visionary mindset, delivering innovative and forward-thinking solutions.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000
