Responsibilities: Develop and maintain predictive models to solve complex problems in risk segmentation, reserving, claims, and litigation Use advanced modeling techniques to evaluate historical loss performance for portfolios, identify key performance indicators, predict future loss cost and develop actionable strategies Research on latest modeling techniques and innovative features to improve existing models Clearly and effectively communicate actuarial results to external audiences including senior management Work with operations and product management teams to ensure risk/insurance aware business decisions Pursues professional development in the actuarial profession through rigorous self-study and successful completion of actuarial exams, with advancement toward the ultimate goal of FCAS Experience: Bachelor or equivalent degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or similar 3+ years of experience in the P&C actuarial field (flexible scheduling during exam preparation and continuing education support for FCAS; we want to be part of your career development!) Experience with SQL and Python (or R) is required and experience in distributed computing (Spark) is a plus Working knowledge with Github Experience with modeling, pricing or reserving Personal or commercial auto insurance experience required Great communication and presentation skills Strong organization and time management skills… Apply To This Job
