Travel Pharmacy Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Potential for travel may be required
- Accurately and efficiently enter new or refill orders
- Adjudicate insurance claims and resolve rejections
- Properly handle order exceptions such as refill-too-soon, invalid orders, etc.
- Manage incoming phone calls and emails
- De-escalate and troubleshoot issues for customers
- Communicate effectively with leadership and peers
- Achieve or exceed productivity standards in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
Skills & Abilities
- 3+ years pharmacy order entry experience
- 3+ years experience with Framework and Docutrack software
- Must be able to travel up to 10 weeks per calendar year
- Must possess an active TX State Board of Pharmacy Technician License (or willing to obtain)
- Can perform pharmacy calculations.
- Understands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions.
- Ability to complete projects promptly.
- Ability to work with little oversight and/or guidance.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times and traverse close quarters quickly.
- Must be able to stand on feet for the duration of an eight (8) hour shift.
