Full Stack Developer

We are a SaaS technology company focused on creating brilliant productivity software for millions of users worldwide, particularly in the areas of email and task management. We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to apply veteran engineering knowledge to enhance our suite of productivity products.To be considered, you must be located in California, Oregon, Washington, Texas, Colorado, Utah, New Jersey, Massachusetts, or North Carolina, with candidates in the SF Bay Area preferred.Job Duties:
  • Apply experience to shave development time off critical projects.
  • Help maintain and ensure the reliability of server infrastructure.
  • Share knowledge and experience across the engineering team.
  • Collaborate effectively with product, support, marketing, and leadership teams.
  • Identify and learn from past and current technical challenges.
  • Evaluate new technologies and communicate their value or lack thereof.
Ideal Background:
  • Deep knowledge in at least one of the following technologies: HTML/CSS/JS (including jQuery, multi-browser compatibility, front-end performance), Python + Django.
  • Deep understanding of back-end technologies and databases (NoSQL experience is a plus).
  • Experience with Google Cloud is a plus.
  • Ability to work at an expert level in one of our core technologies.
  • Proven ability to learn from past mistakes and identify similar issues.
  • Experience exploring and utilizing AI for productivity enhancements.
  • Ability to differentiate between valuable new technologies and passing trends.
  • Comfortable expressing thoughts clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Collaborative attitude, enjoys teaching others, and is open to learning.
  • Interest in productivity software.
  • Appreciation for "boring technology" when it solves real problems.
  • BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related major, or 5+ years of industry experience in a software development environment.
