Data Entry Typist

Position Overview: We are seeking a Data Entry Typist who will be responsible for inputting a high volume of information quickly and accurately into various databases and systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent typing skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage large sets of data in a structured and deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately type and input data from source documents into digital formats
- Proofread and verify data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency
- Maintain and update records in company systems or spreadsheets
- Organize and categorize electronic files for easy retrieval and compliance
- Assist with formatting documents, reports, or spreadsheets as needed
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely processing of data
- Identify and flag errors, missing information, or inconsistencies in source material
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data privacy protocols
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in data entry is a plus
- Proven experience in data entry, typing, or administrative support
- Typing speed of at least 60 WPM with high accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word) and cloud-based platforms
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
