Job Title: Customer Service Specialist This is an onsite position at our Alpine Branch. Summary: At TransPecos Banks, we are committed to operating with the highest standards of honesty and integrity. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing and recording routine transactions for bank customers. We provide our customers with excellent customer service, greeting them by name, meeting their needs, and following up to be sure they were satisfied. Wage Type: Hourly Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • opening new accounts
  • resolving client concerns
  • following up with clients as needed
  • making appropriate referrals to bank partners
  • understanding of banking software
  • processing transactions for customers
  • basic knowledge of consumer lending process
  • opening and closing the branch
  • participation in community activities and bank appointed meetings
  • following bank policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • maintaining customer confidentiality
  • basic knowledge of account types (DDA, SDA, CD, IRA, etc.)

any other duties as assigned Organizational Structure: Reports to: Team Lead/Branch Manager Qualifications: Required Knowledge/Skills:

  • at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • clerical, administrative, cash handling, sales, or customer service experience
  • knowledge of customer service principles
  • basic computer skills
  • experience with Microsoft Office and/or Outlook
