Job Description

Assists in picking up and delivering various items between various internal and external hospital locations. Helps in escorting or transporting patients within facility. Job Responsibility 1.Assists in picking-up and delivering equipment, supplies, medications, specimens to various internal and external hospital locations. 2.Handles items in accordance with operating procedures. 3.Ensures timely delivery of items to appropriate locations; communicates delays in delivery / pickup time, as required. 4.Operates transport vehicles both on and off property. 5.Performs pre-trip inspection of assigned vehicle. 5.Maintains vehicle mileage records. 6.Operates all vehicles in accordance with applicable laws; fuels vehicles as necessary. 7.Informs management of all vehicle activities and issues. 8.Performs related duties as required. Job Qualification ? High School Diploma or equivalent required. ? Valid Driver's License in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed. ? 0-1 years of relevant experience, required. ?
