Who Are We? A&M Compost is one of the largest and most cutting-edge indoor composting facilities in the country. We compost biosolids (sludge) from municipal wastewater treatment plants and produce a rich, organic compost suitable for a wide variety of landscaping and soil enhancement applications. Unlike our competitors, all composting is performed inside state-of-the-art buildings equipped with environmental control systems. These structures include leachate management and biological odor control systems. This process enables composting to be accomplished in a manner that minimizes any effect on our environment. Safely operate the facilities Wheel Loader and Drum Feeder ? Enforce safety procedures on the tipping floor ? Assist with Direct Drop Off procedures and customers as needed ? Maintain landscaping onsite including, but not limited to, mowing, weed-whacking, mulching ? Assist with onsite operations as needed when instructed by supervisor ? Keep the onsite roads/surrounding area litter free ? Other duties as assigned You Have/You Are: ? At least 18 years of age ? A valid Driver's License ? At least 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment ? A comfort level working in all-weather outdoors and ability to work indoors ? The ability to work every other Saturday (required) and overtime ? Ability to read, write and speak English fluently ? Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. ? Must be organized and motivated to succeed with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. We Offer: ?
