Generator Technician
Fidelity Power Systems, one of the nation's largest distributors of Kohler Generators and Power Systems is seeking a Generator Technician to join our expanding team based in Baltimore, MD area. If you are highly skilled in troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customers' generators, then you may be just who we need! PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Perform preventative maintenance on standby generator systems. ? Troubleshoot and repair gas and diesel engines. ? Troubleshoot electrical circuit boards. ? Change oil and filers. ? Troubleshoot complete electrical systems. ? Work with customers on a one-on-one basis. ? Complete and submit work orders and reports. ? Prepare accurate quotes for repairs. ? Maintain truck inventory. PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: ? High School diploma or GED. ? Vo-tech school or Military training, a plus. ? John Deere, Cummins, and/or Caterpillar engine training is preferred. ? Training on Automatic Transfer Switches. ? Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. BENEFITS: ?
