Data Analysis Strategist
The Financial Threats Data Analyst role is a key contributor position that plays a critical part in preventing and detecting financial threats for Citi's North American Consumer Credit and Retail Banking products. To achieve this objective, the analyst will be responsible for leading analysis and data gathering efforts to provide actionable insights into financial threat activities, trends, patterns, and root causes. Some of the primary responsibilities include: ? Providing actionable, data-driven insights that demonstrate visibility into financial threat activities ? Accessing data from multiple systems, products, and across different lines of businesses ? Being the primary source of analytical and data support for the leadership and policy team, which would be comprised of both adhoc and longer-term analytical projects To succeed in this role, one must have a strong analytical orientation, technical expertise, and an understanding of current financial threat risks such as identity theft, first-party fraud, credit abuse, mules, and scams. Additionally, the successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively in a cross-functional organization, and be able to prioritize effectively and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
