Software Verification Engineer

Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > DSP Architecture and Design General Summary: Job Summary: We are seeking a software verification engineer to join our machine learning verification team. The verification team is responsible for delivering high quality software verification solutions for our neural network compiler team. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement verification processes for complex machine learning compiler software. • Define necessary performance metrics to evaluate the neural network compiler. • Analyze complex and ambiguous data to identify anomalies impacting verification objectives. • Work closely with the development team to clarify requirements, provide feedback on code quality, drive documentation improvements, and ensure defects identification and resolution occurs on time. • Ensure that the software product meets the highest quality standards. • Ensure that the team is meeting customer requirements. • Be the primary driver of code quality and process optimizations. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant discipline. A master’s degree is preferable. • 8+ years of practical experience in software testing, machine learning applications, and python development. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills. • A good eye for detail. • Leadership skills. • The ability to work independently and to collaborate with others Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience. OR PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience. • 2+ years of experience with high-performance microprocessor design. Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits: $154,000.00 - $231,000.00 The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
