About the position Do you have the career opportunities as a PBX Operator you want with your current employer? Under the general supervision of the Director, PBX Operators monitor telephone console and process incoming and in-house calls in a quick and professional manner. Assists patients and visitors with information and directions to specific areas in the hospital; responds quickly and effectively to all emergency codes using proper hospital procedures, and maintains a professional level of work performance and image for the hospital. Responsibilities • You will answer all incoming & inter-hospital calls within 30 seconds and page over Public Address system. , • You will respond to all emergency codes within 5 seconds and proceeds with appropriate procedures. , • You will assist security by monitoring devices and paging/ calling on SpectraLink phones. , • You will assist and direct all visitors or patients to their specific areas within the hospital.
