We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while working under the guidance of experienced professionals. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. A strong willingness to learn and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities • Assist in the installation of electrical systems and components according to schematics and blueprints. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters to perform tasks effectively. • Support experienced electricians in troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues. • Participate in the maintenance of low voltage systems and ensure compliance with safety standards. • Help with framing carpentry tasks as needed to support electrical installations. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. • Document work performed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly. Qualifications • Basic understanding of electrical concepts, including familiarity with schematics and wiring diagrams. • Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. • Knowledge of low voltage systems is a plus but not required. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from senior electricians. • Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to industrial electrician work. • Must be able to lift heavy materials as needed and perform physical tasks associated with the role.
