About the position The Front Desk Agent at Holiday Inn Express & Suites in NW Calallen is a vital role responsible for providing exceptional service to guests before and during their stay. This position requires a friendly and energetic individual who can maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming while adhering to hotel policies and procedures. The Front Desk Agent will greet guests upon arrival, handle check-ins and check-outs, and ensure that all guest inquiries are addressed promptly and courteously. The role also involves managing the phone system, providing information about hotel services, and maintaining effective communication with other hotel departments. The ideal candidate will be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and overnight shifts, and must be able to stand for extended periods. This position is essential for maximizing room revenue and occupancy while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Responsibilities • Greet and welcome all guests approaching the Front Desk in accordance with IHG standards. , • Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner. , • Maintain proper operation of the phone system and ensure that all IHG performance standards are met. , • Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation. , • Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow employees and other departments within the hotel. , • Follow all hotel credit policies and be aware of all rates, packages, and special promotions. , • Assist in emergency procedures as required and maintain a friendly demeanor at all times. , • Perform any other duties as requested by management. Requirements • High School diploma or equivalent required. , • 1+ years of experience in a hotel or related field preferred. , • 1+ years of Front Desk experience required. , • 3+ years of customer service experience preferred. , • Must know OPERA system. Nice-to-haves • Experience in a hotel or related field preferred. , • Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
