Dental Assistant Job Posting We are currently looking for a highly motivated dental assistant for our fast-paced, multi-office oral surgery practice located in the Northeast Houston area. Your main role as an assistant is to work alongside one of our oral surgeons who are dedicated to serving their patients; we understand that oral surgery is a unique experience and are willing to train those who show a desire in wanting to become a member of our team. Responsibilities: · Assist the surgeon during various procedures while providing excellent chair-side assistance. · Prepare and maintain a clean, sterile and patient-centric working environment. · Accurately collect and record patient medical history in Electronic Healthcare Records (EHR) system. · Provide the highest level of customer service and quality care. · Provide patients with pre-op and post-op instructions as it pertains to their oral health and dental treatment. · Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal and other regulations such as OSHA, HIPAA, Dental Board, ADA and our Employee Handbook. Requirements: · Registered Dental Assistant by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners. · BLS Certified. · Knowledge of dental procedures and protocols. · Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. · Excellent communication and customer service skills with an outgoing personality. Starting Pay: · $16 - $22 an hour depending on level of experience.
