Maintenance Mechanic / Technician
American Polymer Company specializes in the manufacturing of precast underground vaults. APC maintenance technician is responsible for the preservation and functionality of the site which includes machinery, tooling, molds, and equipment. The maintenance technician will work closely with management to ensure the occurrence of safe manufacturing. Other duties include ensuring company policies and procedures are followed and participation in various improvement projects. Overall Responsibilities: Monitor equipment and ensure that they are in good working order Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards Perform maintenance of all operational systems Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment Perform manual repairs when necessary Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed Skills: Proven experience as a maintenance technician Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other systems Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime Welding and metalworking skills preferred Apply Job!
