Sr. Software Development Engineer Location: Aurora, CO Clearance: TS/SCI DeNOVO Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and innovative software engineer to support critical technical infrastructure support of advanced platforms and a contagious drive for excellence that motivates everyone to be innovative, unique, and deliver cutting edge technology to support the warfighter Required Skills: 10+ years of experience in software design and development 2+ years of experience leading a development team, providing guidance, mentorship and support while ensuring software quality standards are met. 2+ years of leadership experience in software design and development under the Agile methodology Proficiency in Java, C++, and scripting under the Linux OS Proficiency in web development technologies Proficiency with database design and development Desired Skills: Experience collaborating with stakeholders to develop requirements and cost and schedule estimates. Experience maintaining and monitoring project progress in Jira and presenting cost and schedule status Experience identifying and pursuing new business opportunities Experience with source control using Git and Bitbucket Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Education Requirements: To be considered for this role you must have the following: Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience in software design and development.
