We are seeking a talented Software Tester/QA to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in an Agile environment, where you will analyze and test software features while collaborating with developers and product managers. Responsibilities • Analyze and test software features to ensure quality and functionality. • Create automated test cases in partnership with developers and product managers. • Collaborate with the development team to define and execute tests throughout the project lifecycle. • Continuously re-evaluate the test strategy based on new information and changing priorities. • Define, implement, and execute functional, regression, and acceptance test strategies. • Conduct exploratory and manual testing, defect logging, and verification. • Support and troubleshoot problems with existing applications. Skills • Proficiency in open-source automation and testing tools such as Ruby, RSpec, Watir, Cucumber, SQL, and NoSQL. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Skills • Experience in Agile development methodologies. • Familiarity with test planning and test environment setup. • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
