What You'll Do
The Wholesale Portfolio Risk Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the overall quality of the portfolio is maintained and that the bank is positioned to expand its relationship with clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling client financial needs, ensuring a favorable client experience, and maintaining a positive relationship with the bank. Key Accountabilities: Handling commercial and industrial underwriting, commercial real estate renewals, and opening new loans to render a lending decision, portfolio loans while maintaining quality control of new loans. Providing recommendations for loans requiring exception approval authority based on independent analysis and interpretations of cash flows, and banking lending risk guidelines. Preparing credit packages for review and approval, and participating in building client relationships. Developing and maintaining credit policy and underwriting guidelines for debt products. Working closely with lines of business to obtain supporting information and data to develop a consistent view of portfolio trends. Driving analysis of wide-ranging business risks that have financial impact and provide insight into trends in portfolio performance and profitability. Apply Job!
