About the position The Seasonal Task Associate (STA) at Ulta Beauty plays a crucial role in delivering operational excellence that supports sales drivers, which are essential for providing an exceptional experience for all guests. This position is centered around maintaining store standards, ensuring merchandise is stocked, and completing assigned tasks efficiently. The STA is expected to contribute to the store's retail goals by executing tasks as planned and ensuring that products are readily available for purchase. This includes meeting compliance and execution goals related to the task dashboard, timely completion of operational processes such as shipment and replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts. Attention to detail and adherence to processes and procedures are vital for success in this role. In addition to operational responsibilities, the STA is a champion of Ulta Beauty's mission, vision, and values. They are expected to foster an inclusive environment that supports both teammates and guests. Continuous professional development is encouraged through participation in ongoing training, which includes brand and category education aimed at driving sales performance. The STA must also be knowledgeable about and ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty's policies, procedures, and standards, including maintaining the dress code. The role requires the STA to maintain outstanding store standards and cleanliness across various areas, including the sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and break area. Protecting company assets through loss prevention best practices while providing exceptional guest service is also a key responsibility. The STA will execute other operational tasks as directed, contributing to the overall success of the store and enhancing the shopping experience for guests.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store's retail goals by ensuring all tasks are executed as planned and product is available for purchase.

  • Meet compliance and execution goals related to task dashboard and ensure the timely completion of all operational processes, including the shipment and replenishment processes, merchandise sets, and inventory counts and procedures.

  • Maintain prompt, regular attendance.

,

  • Contribute to an inclusive environment that supports teammates, peers, and the internal and external guests served.

,

  • Regularly participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education, to enable continuous professional development and drive sales performance.

  • Be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty's policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Adhere to Ulta Beauty's dress code.

  • Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and processing shipment using Ulta Beauty's technology and best practices.

  • Drive operational excellence by keeping assigned work area replenished, signed, and faced, and ensuring testers are available.

,

  • Maintain outstanding store standards and overall store cleanliness including salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.

  • Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.

  • Execute other operational tasks as directed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma is preferred.

,

  • 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.

  • Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to problem solve.
