Hiring 6GR Welders! Labor One Staffing, is looking for skilled Welders for the Ingleside, TX area. Welders to build and repair large structures and platforms. - Job Requirements:
- Read blueprints and drawings or read plan measurements and follow layouts and procedures.
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
- Set up components of welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with power saws to match measurements).
- Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
- Align components using calipers, rulers, etc., and clamp pieces.
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead).
- Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
- Verify your work that welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety and skills.
- Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (FCAW, STICK, etc.)
- Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, grinders, squares, calipers, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing and PPE (face shield, gloves, etc.)
- Experience using cutting tools.
- Ability to measure and cut materials
- Pass 6GR Test
- Must be willing to work in heights and confined spaces.

- 6” Pipe Sch. 120, (Root / Fill / Cap) with (FCAW)
- 6” Pipe Sch. XX, (Root / Fill / Cap) with (FCAW)
- Open root 1/8 in, root face 1/16in (single-bevel)
- Gas: 75%ar-25%Co2
