Position: Virtual Middle School Special Education Teacher Location: Illinois (Remote) Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide virtual instruction to middle school students in Illinois for the 2nd semester, starting in January and continuing through the end of the school year. Requirements: Licensure: Active Illinois teaching license for elementary or middle school. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience required. Virtual teaching experience is preferred. Technical Skills: Must pass a technology screening to ensure compatibility with the virtual platform. Responsibilities: Deliver engaging virtual instruction to middle school students with special needs. Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student goals. Collaborate with families, school staff, and other professionals to support student success. Monitor and document student progress and provide regular feedback.
