Requirements

So now that you know about us, here's the job... At Diverzify, we believe our associates are at the heart of our organization. The Accounts Receivable - Cash Collections will strike a balance between maintaining trustful relationships and ensuring timely payments by contacting individuals and businesses with unresolved bills to collect payments. This position will be in charge of resolving overdue bills and collecting payments from individuals or businesses responsible for them, all while protecting their employer's financial assets. Job Responsibilities • Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and find and contact clients to ask about their overdue payments • Investigate historical data for each debt or bill and update account status records and collection efforts • Take actions to encourage timely debt payments • Process payments and refunds • Resolve billing and customer credit issues • Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status Job Requirements • High school diploma • 2 years of Business to Business Collections experience • Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques (e.g. state notice requirements and lien laws) • Familiarity with laws related to debt collection (e.g. FDCPA) • Working knowledge of MS Office and databases • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) Preferred Qualifications • Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree is a plus • 3 + years’ experience preferred; construction industry experience • Preferably on Pacific Time Zone as this position supports the West Coast region.
