DevOps Engineer - W2 Contract Only
DevOps Engineer Remote Contract to hire New Role with Surest. target profile here will be someone with a SQL/server admin/even IT support background who has jumped into cloud engineering/DevOps for the last few years -Will be working on multiple platforms -Open to an IT Generalist -Focused on someone with 4-8 years experience Top 3 Skillsets: - Microsoft SQL Environment (50%) - -Take on day to day engineering work, in SQL and windows servers -Looking at performance, writing SQL, diagnose issues with Data -Some .Net Exp. - EKS, Kubernetes background for container environment work - AWS o EC2, terraform, terragrunt Team: wears a lot of hats - DevOps/Cloud Engineers for all AWS infra and maintaining cloud security and patching - 6 resources + Cody Parker (Technical Management) - Daily work w/ Databases, Ec2 instances, container clusters, etc. Skillset and D2D technologies: - Migrating from ECS to EKS (Kubernetes services) - Cloud Engineering in AWS - Networking or Security background is strong nice to have - Kanban methodology - Terraform, python, Bash, Terragrunt - 90% on Linux OS - Jenkins and CI/CD knowledge - Beginning stages of implementing Prometheus and Grafana - SQL, postgress, etc. Background: - Infrastructure background mix o Networking o Security o Cloud platforms - Some level of software experience is desired Apply Job!
