We proudly work in collaboration... with mom-and-pop shops, national retailers, and everyone in between. We are located in Northvale NJ. This is a 6-month part-time temporary on-site position. Remote work is not offered. The Role The Filing Clerk position is a limited duration project assignment. The Filing Clerk is responsible for supporting Midass accounting department to organize invoices. Additionally, the filing clerk files, scans, and photocopies all current and historical invoices, and uploads them into the appropriate digital locations. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, a friendly demeanor, and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative work environment. Responsibilities: • File, scan, and photocopy historical accounting documents according to document retention policies. • Organize current invoices ensuring missing invoices are tracked and found. • Maintain filing system. • Assist accounting department in maintaining clean records. • File paperwork digitally and manually as necessary. • Performs other duties as assigned. Education and Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or related field are a plus. • Proven experience using scanning tools. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles. • Ability to lift 20-30 pounds.
