Charge Master Analyst

WORK SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri, 0800–1430 CST (40 hours/week) Job Description: We are looking for a qualified Charge Description Master (CDM) Analysts to support reconfiguration and maintenance of chargemaster records. Primary responsibility will be to review the legacy CDM short and long descriptions to identify potential matches to industry standards for Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) codes. The analysts will work closely with LPDH Leads to receive assignments with daily or weekly production goals. The proposed codes will be reviewed by stakeholder audit committees for validation or feedback for the CDM Analyst to rework. Basic Qualifications: • BS degree and 4 years of prior relevant experience • US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain an ADP IT-II Public Trust Clearance based on the minimum of a Tier 3 investigation. Federal Government requirement. • Advanced knowledge of CDM structures and coding rules with effective research skills to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidance. • Education / Certification: AA/AS or Professional Credentials such as Certified • Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS); additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree/credentials • Two years’ Experience with Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and Healthcare • Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) coding and charging practices • Candidates must be able to work independently and meet strict deadlines. • Intermediate Microsoft Office experience: must be able to perform Excel functions such as Logic, Concat, Lookup and Reference, perform key word searches ECCO Select is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
