Job Description:
As a DoorDash Courier Driver, you will be the one who brings the customer’s favorite food right to their doorstep. You will accept orders via the DoorDash Driver app, pick up the food from the restaurant, and ensure its safe and timely delivery to the customer’s location.
Responsibilities:
– Accepting and fulfilling food delivery orders within your designated area
– Ensuring timely pickup and delivery of food items
– Maintaining open communication with customers about their order status and estimated delivery time
– Handling food with care to maintain its quality and prevent any damage during transit
– Adhering to all traffic and safety regulations
Requirements:
– Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record
– Reliable vehicle (car, bike, or scooter) and smartphone
– Ability to lift or carry items up to 30 lbs
– Excellent customer service and communication skills
– Navigation skills
– Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws
Educational Qualifications:
No specific educational qualifications are required for this role.
Experience:
Previous experience in delivery driving, customer service, or related field is a plus, but not mandatory as we provide paid on-the-job training.
