Job Summary:
We are currently looking for a detail-oriented, Part-Time Data Entry Clerk to join our dynamic team at Amazon, located in Nevada, MO. The position offers competitive hourly wages ($15-$20 per hour), with a schedule under 4 hours per day. Job Description:
As a part-time Data Entry Clerk, your primary responsibility will be to maintain our database by entering new and updated customer and account information. You will also be required to prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information, as well as establishing entry priorities. Confidentiality, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly and accurately enter information are key traits for this position.
Responsibilities:
– Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry
– Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check the output
– Apply data program techniques and procedures
– Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations
– Keep information confidential
– Comply with data integrity and security policies
Requirements:
– Proven data entry work experience
– Solid understanding of data entry procedures and practices
– Familiarity with MS Office and data entry programs
– Strong typing speed and accuracy
– High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
While prior experience as a Data Entry Clerk is advantageous, we are willing to train the right candidate who shows a strong desire to learn, a committed work ethic, and a dedication to maintaining data integrity.
