United States, Georgia, Atlanta Flight Ops... 21-Jun-2024 Ref #: 25094 How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The Junior Flight Simulator Technician performs entry level maintenance functions on Full Flight Simulators, Flight Training Devices, Cockpit Procedure Trainers, and associated support devices to support meeting pilot training, maintenance training, and FAA regulatory requirements. Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks): • Troubleshoots identified discrepancies on electronics, computers, computer networks, hydraulics, visual, pneumatics, and mechanical systems. • Installs, replaces, cleans, repairs, and services various equipment including visual generation/display systems, computers, computer networks, motion systems, electronic circuit boards, and circuits. • Maintains PC, Motorola, IBM, and various other host and satellite computers and networks. • Performs periodic maintenance and diagnostics on computer and peripheral equipment. • Operates and maintains electronic test equipment. • Accomplishes software archiving functions. • Possesses a general knowledge of Aircraft systems and their operation. • Practices safety conscious behaviors in all processes and procedures.
