As an American Airlines Customer Support Representative, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their inquiries, providing excellent service, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position offers the flexibility of working from home, allowing you to support customers remotely. Key Responsibilities... Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a timely and professional manner. Assisting customers with booking flights, changing reservations, processing refunds, and resolving any issues they may encounter. Providing information regarding flight schedules, baggage policies, loyalty programs, and other airline services. Handling customer complaints and escalations with empathy and efficiency, aiming for swift resolution. Collaborating with other team members and departments to ensure seamless customer experiences. Required Skills and Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong customer service orientation with a passion for helping others. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using computer systems and navigating software applications. Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service is a plus. Experience: Previous experience in customer service, call center, or hospitality roles is preferred but not required. Working Hours: Flexible schedules are available, including part-time and full-time options. Shifts may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Familiarity with airline industry practices, policies, and procedures is advantageous. Ability to adapt to new technologies and software platforms quickly. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Empathetic and patient demeanor when dealing with customer concerns. Proficiency in additional languages may be beneficial but is not mandatory.
