Principal Systems Engineer

Description: DSFederal, Inc. seeks a Principal Systems Engineer to serve as a systems administrator, actively implementing front and backend components of new or existing solutions. This may include integration and implementation on a variety of platforms to include web, cloud and mobile. Responsibilities: ?Drupal System Administration, including account management, monitoring, patch management, security support, and development/enhancements. ?AWS System Administration, including setting up/supporting monitoring solutions and supporting CI/CD pipeline development and implementation. ?Ability to communicate effectively with less technical resources. ?Ability to work with technical staff to understand and develop new web applications, resolve customer complaints with applications and respond to suggestions for software modifications. ?Design, test and integrate system and enterprise software and multi-tier architectures. ?Provide technical support in software development... projects using database, network, middleware, and other related technologies. ?Work collaboratively with team through all phases of Software Development Life Cycle. ?Research new methods to improve efficiencies and application performance and development of comprehensive documentation. ?Assist in the training of less experienced software developer staff and may act as team leader on complex projects.
