We are seeking academic coaches for College Admissions Planning and College Essay Advising to work online. Qualifications: ? Bachelor?s Degree or higher ? RECENT or CURRENT tutoring/teaching experience; 1:1 college counseling and/or college admission experience ? Passion for educating and building confidence ? Clear communication skills ? Willingness to commit for at least a semester ? Must be able to pass a background check ? Three to five years of college admission experience with an established record of success in helping students achieve admission to highly competitive colleges. ? Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. colleges and universities, current admissions trends, and an understanding of international admissions policies. ? Majors ? Programs ? Qualifications ? Effectively manage time and meet deadlines ? Rapport Building and Approachability ? Google Suite, Zoom Video Conferencing, Online Scheduling, familiarity with education management systems, and learning new user interfaces. Responsibilities: ? Provide guidance to high school students on career exploration, academic course selection, standardized testing plans, extracurricular activities, and college list development. ? Manage the college application process with high school students through advising on improving the chance of acceptance, meeting critical deadlines, and essay development. ?
