Pop Art Agent

Remote · USA Full-time New today

OK... let's kick this off with some clarity: if you're using AI, this isn't for you. I mean... at all. AI tried to write an ad for this position before I had chance to shoot it it the head, and it was so generically bad, flaccid and dry... I wanted to eat my own eyeballs. We're all big boys and girls here and I'm trying to put together a listing for a pop art agent, not a corporate go-get-em-tiger. After the long shadow of Covid we're coasting quite well now, but it would be churlish to think we wouldn't do better, have better connective reach and visibility, with an agent who understands the market where they are. We'd be excitied to hear about potential in places over the horizon, and we're stretched a bit thin right now. This listing is for North America. But we're looking across multiple markets so, if you know anyone that you would recommend, please us together with my thanks. We're looking for art agents with some knowledge, experience - maybe a little black book of clients - to represent the artist. Licensing, private sales... whatever works in your part of the world. It's a commission role, with a healthy % to be agreed. OK, seems fairly straightforward at this early point. Check out hetzerart.com for more on the artist and the work, and DM us if interested, or you know someone who might be. If you're younger, newer to the art world... don't be shy. You'll need some experience and ideas, but we welcome the next generation too. Although we would prefer well-established agents for mature markets, there are some emerging territories that could be a bit of a sandbox, where new ideas could work. Just please... no bullshit AI responses or scammers. We're very flexible, but not dumb. Thank you! Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
